What I Learned from the Project

I learned how to process large amounts of GTFS and GTFS-RT data with R and Python. I also learned how to get around a CORS restriction by creating a proxy on a cloud service.

What I Learned from the Project

In our project, I learned how to load and style GTFS data in Mapbox GL JS and make different layers work together without conflicts. I also practiced handling live updates and improving the map’s interactivity.

I learned how to make a website with interactive HTML using geojson data and managing large amount of data. It was cool to see the different features that could be added using the data.
